A great scholar once said, "Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel".The misconception of education as a pursuit of filling minds with information remains. The power of education is not about teaching of knowledge, but how to use it effectively. This certainly cannot be achieved by placing young learners in lecture halls. Each student is filled with ideas that only require the right spark to convert their curiosity into opportunities to learn more. It is our responsibility to Kindle enlightenment and ignite that light in them.  

             

           Children are the reason why I was destined to become a teacher. The very first day at school is not just big day for the children themselves, it's also a tear jerker for them. And my young one was no different. Polished new shoes and trimmed nails were just the beginning of his long road of formal education.But at the age of 6, running home into my arms, from school, with big bag pack filled with numerous textbooks and tears in his eyes became a quotidian habit in Rewa. Learning should be joyful experience and choosing the right school for our children is one of the most crucial decision that we, as parents would ever have to take. The closer we are to sending our children out into the world, the further we have to bend. They can be groomed to be confident, competent and compassionate young adults. Our kindergartner Little Tiptoe programme is one of many strong foundations in early lives of our students, giving them a whole new world of sensorial experiences along with a timeline of precious memories and social development of the students.
